Implant retained dentures use a small number of implants that allow dentures to be fixed in place with supports. Two or three implants placed in each jaw can provide stability for part or even full sets of dentures, helping to improve chewing function, reduce shrinkage of underlying bone and gum, and avoid the risk of the dentures moving or dropping while you speak.
